Press Releases

Servo Kinetics is extremely proud to announce the overhaul and up-grade of the space shuttle training simulator for United Space Alliance and NASA in Houston Texas.

There are some projects that are so special there is no way to describe the pride and satisfaction that all of Servo Kinetics staff experienced when we were selected to overhaul and upgrade the Shuttle flight simulator for the United Space Agency/NASA for the second time. We performed the initial refurbishment in the early 1990's. In this repeat project 2006/2007, we were surprised that some of the same engineering staff from the first project returned to our facilities for final testing on their actuators. All testing went as planned and the actuators were crated and returned to NASA/Houston on schedule.

The word from NASA is that in 2010 all the shuttles will be taken out of service in favor of newer more efficient technology. So we have been told not to expect any further Shuttle refurbishments in the future.

We are all sad about the end of the Shuttle program, but our pride remains undiminished.
