Servo Kinetics recently completed the refurbishment of 59 precision motion actuators that are used on the C-130 flight training simulators.

The C-130 actuator project represented one of the largest servo Kinetics has handled in our 25 year history of providing support services to the commercial and military flight simulator industries.

The primary mission was for Servo Kinetics to remanufacture 59 precision motion actuators back to like new condition. There was also a secondary mission which was the piping of four simulator locations which had been done in flexible hosing. The runs started at the HPU and ran as far 75/100 feet in sub-floor trenches out to the simulator locations where they emerged from the sub-floor and were then connected to various other floor mounted components.

Final testing on the last 24 actuators was performed on our new dynamic actuator test machine. Further information on this unique machine is available in the Flight Simulation section of this website.
