Press Releases

Servo Kinetics has recently completed it's state-of-the-art dynamic test machine for full-load simulation on motion actuators.

In September of 2005 Servo Kinetics completed the final details remaining to bring our "state-of-the-art" dynamic test machine for simulator motion actuator testing to a fully operational status. This unique test machine is the largest test rig of its type for simulator motion actuators in the world. Designed by Servo Kinetics staff with calibration and test criteria provided by the University of Michigan School of Engineering.

This test machine simulates the load of a fully outfitted flight simulator on it's motion actuator. This test confirms that the actuator meets all dynamic load bearing requirements. The test machine utilizes 40,000 pounds of "dead slug weights" strategically placed for certain tests on the actuator under test.
