Hydraulic Repair
Superior Reverse Engineering –
Creating Obsolete Parts & Components
With our vast machining capacity we are able to provide rebuild services on hydraulic components that are obsolete and parts are no longer available. We can do this by reverse engineering the part and making it in our own machine shop. This approach also works where replacement parts have exceptionally long lead times. It is very important to the customer that he knows that we can do some very special things to keep his operation productive. Our capacity to provide these expended services sets Servo Kinetics apart from virtually all of our competitors. Be sure and take the time to view our machining page for more information.

Evaluation Process
Every unit is disassembled and cleaned in mineral spirits. Bearings and seals are also discarded and replaced with new. All internal parts are examined for reuse or replacement. Job cost is then determined and the customer is quoted their repair cost.
Customer Approval and Rebuild
The unit is reassembled with new replacement parts and then set up for testing. The unit is dynamically tested for flow, pressure and leakage. The unit is then removed from testing and prepared for painting. It is then sent to shipping, where test reports are prepared and enclosed with the unit before it ships.
Very Large Rebuild & Test Capacity
Servo Kinetics does both large and small components. The larger units are always refurbished with the same care and quality as the smaller components.
Each component is fully tested to insure that the original manufacturer’s specifications have been met.
The component is pressure tested at its rated operating pressure — while internal leakage is being monitored.
All operating conditions are duplicated to ensure that the original level of efficiency has been restored.
The component under test is checked for performance under full flow, pressure and temperature to insure component stability.

Dynamic Testing
After our technician has rebuilt the unit it is sent for full dynamic testing. The original Manufacturer’s specifications are used to confirm the unit is equal to or better than a new unit. Very thorough testing is performed on every rebuild consisting of maximum pressure test, internal leakage test, output flows, torque output, proper RPM, force output and other tests depending on the component type. Absolutely no rebuild is shipped without being tested.
