Servo Kinetics began to offer rebuild support services on the Beach Russ vacuum pumps at the urging of Exelon Corporation, after they were made aware that Beach Russ were going to be closing their doors. Exelon requested we evaluate the product and see if it was a device we could rebuild confidently. After evaluating a size 15 and a size 30 we determined we could comfortably support both pumps.
We have reverse engineered all parts that should be replaced in the remanufacturing Process. All parts remain dimensionally the same as the original part from Beach Russ. So interchangeability is maintained. Virtually all Bronze and Copper hardware items are replaced with new. A new sight glass assembly is also installed. A new solenoid valve is installed. The housing main bore is machined to clean up and new steel vanes are installed which based on our understanding was an upgrade from a Nylon type vane. Each pump is fully tested for its vacuum rating before shipment. Each remanufactured pump has a one (1) year operating warranty.
